Nancy attended her first grades in a one-room school house in Whitewater, Missouri. Cherished memories of those early years provided a basis for building a well-grounded life. She has three adult children and four grandchildren.
She was an English teacher for fifteen years, teaching in public school parochial high school, U.S. Army, county jail and vocational college. During those years, she founded a community based non-profit organization.
Later she divorced and returned to school to earn a Masters Degree in social work. Nancy now lives in southern Wisconsin and is currently a supervisor for a non-profit program.
For her, writing gives vent to an imagination that never quits. A favorite quote is from Henry David Thoreau, “The world is but a canvas to our imagination.”
